Heat a heavy bottom pan on gas stove on medium heat. Put makhana in pan and dry roast for 10 minutes on low flame.
Put garlic cloves, mint leaves, a pinch of salt and grind in a chutney jar pot then make coarsely paste.
Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat. Put crushed masala and fry for a minute or two so that garlic raw flavor will be vanish. Now add dry roasted makhana and toss for another 2 minutes.
Now black pepper powder, adjust salt if required and stir very well.
Let it cool down. Serve with any type of cocktails / mocktails or as a snacks item. It could be store in airtight jar.
